What is VOLTS by Univelcity?
VOLTS is a remote, structured internship program designed for Nigerian students undergoing Industrial Training (SIWES). It offers hands-on experience through real-world projects, mentorship, and skills development across four major tech tracks.
Who can apply for VOLTS?
Any student currently undergoing SIWES/Industrial Training from a recognized Nigerian university or polytechnic can apply. You must have access to a laptop and stable internet to participate effectively.
What tracks are available?
We currently offer four specialization tracks:

How is the program structured?
VOLTS runs in monthly cycles. Each student joins a track, works on real-world projects, gets mentorship, attends webinars, and participates in career readiness workshops. Students are expected to log weekly progress digitally.
Is there a fee to join VOLTS?
Yes. VOLTS has an administrative fee.
- ₦30,000 – 1 Month
- ₦80,000 – 3 Months

What will I get at the end of the program?
Upon successful completion, students will receive:
- Valuable work experience and industry exposure through real-world projects
- A digital portfolio showcasing completed tasks and practical skills

Can I join from anywhere in Nigeria?
Yes! VOLTS is fully remote, so students from any state can join, as long as they have the required tools (laptop + internet).
What tools or platforms will I need to use?
Participants will use platforms like Slack, GitHub, Trello, Google Meet, and our Learning Management System (LMS) for tasks, communication, and collaboration.
How do I apply?
